Lenticular images are generally designed to be viewed flat. Bending the piece in a direction parallel to the lenticules will change its viewing distance. Tests can be made to determine a particular viewing distance for a known curve and lens combination. Bending a piece perpendicular to the lenticules has no affect on the viewing distance, but heating the lenticular sheet to achieve a bend will destroy the integrity of the lens.
